  1. The giant panda is not considered endangered anymore on the IUCN’s storied red list, but it still requires continued conservation effort. The measures of protection and restoration of the forest in the panda’s range by China are by far the most responsible for this downlisting. The measures will be further strengthened through programs involved; these programs put their extensive efforts in perfecting the negative factors causing the threats. Climate change is a future threat, however the research and outlook of its affect on the species is also being treated as importance. The pandas are looking at a positive outcome but there is still a lot more that can take place to help them reach safety.
